Futures – derivative. The contract (document) that is traded on the exchange. It is an agreement between the seller and the buyer for the supply of the asset in the future in amounts and at a cost agreed at the time of the transaction. Binding. Assets can be almost anything: currencies, commodities, securities, indices etc.
